Service Terms and Conditions

Policy

By signing up for and/or using our services, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions:

Fees

Hourly Rate $30.00 - $50.00(CAD) hour billed in 15 minute increments.

Word Processing Fees are billed on a per item bases.

Quote

This is an estimate only and is subject to change should the specs change. The quote is only valid for 3 months. Client requested changes and use of other service providers will be billed additionally. If you accept the quote, please use the quote number to place your order.

Order

All orders placed via internet/e-mail/fax/phone will require a signed contract. A signed contract outlining specifics of the project, estimated costs, and payment terms is required before work will commence. In addition a 25%-50% deposit will be required for all services. Payment is due in full prior to delivery of complete work unless alternate billing arrangements have been made in advance. Last minute projects, rush, or evening/weekend service is a surcharge of 25%. Late charges are 12%. N.S.F. cheques will be a $25.00 service charge.

Clients will also be charged back for all expenses, stationary and incidental charges. See Finishing Services.

Final proof is the responsibility of the client. Any mistakes on the part of Supporting Small Biz.ca must be reported in 48 hours after job is complete and will be corrected at expense of Supporting Small Biz.ca.

Client Invoices

Clients will receive monthly invoices whether or not they incur miscellaneous charges. This includes details of their account, such as time spent on a task, minutes used, and other detailed account activity. Invoices are payable upon receipt.

Monthly retainer invoices are due at the first of the month and are e-mailed 2 weeks prior.

Payments

We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club and American Express for payment using third-party payment services provided by PayPal. Other payment methods such as regular cheque, certified cheque, and money order are accepted as well.

We take credit card fraud very seriously. We will cooperate with authorities to report any fraudulent incident as well as information provided to us.

Retainer Services

Get 5-15% off the regular rate. Retainer invoices must be paid up front. Unused retainer fees are non-refundable however unused hours may be carried over for 1 month. After 3 months where client usage are less than agreed upon hours the rate of package will be negotiated. Any additional hours will be billed at special rate.

  • Bronze – repeat clients get 5% off regular hourly rate or clients with less than 40 hours a month.
  • Silver – clients get 10% off regular hourly rate with over 40 hours a month
  • Gold – clients get 15% off regular hourly rate with over 60 hours a month.

Refund Policy

  • Invoice Payments are non-refundable. Please be sure to check your invoice thoroughly for any inaccuracies. Once you make a payment to an outstanding invoice, you agree that the said invoice is valid and well accounted for.
  • All unused, unconsumed remaining client deposits we will be put towards your next visit or an administrative fee will be charged with refund.
  • Long Distance calls, postage, and other miscellaneous expenses outlined in client invoices are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

A quote or order may be cancelled at any time without penalty. Once the contract is signed terms of the contract apply. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our services, please let us know. Client Satisfaction is our priority. If for any reason we cannot meet your needs, you may notify us in writing (e-mail or snail mail), and we will discontinue service/and account billing.

Affiliate Orders

Orders placed to our affiliate partners through their site are not our responsibility. Please read all policies of their site before placing your order. We are not responsible; do not offer guarantees; or make any claims regarding their products or services or site content. The information provided to their sites is under their privacy policy. We do not endorse their products or services or make any other claims.

Disclaimer

Supporting Small Biz.ca cannot guarantee that the project will bring in work or revenue etc. Supporting Small Biz.ca is not liable for any legal action that may arise from design or artwork that the client provides.

Confidentiality

All documents are handled in strict confidence. No third party can access the data for any other purpose than to complete the job and will only be given the materials to do it. After task is completed we will return all documents and company file copies to you upon request and destroy all copies or derivation accordingly.
